The disinfectant solution is compatible with most metals, plastics and silicone, making it ideal for use in ultrasonic cleaners, immersion trays and instrument containers.
Ultrasonic Cleaner Use
HygienTabs can remain active for up to 24 hours when used in a manual immersion bath.
When used in ultrasonic cleaners, the constant agitation and heat can cause the active ingredient to break down more quickly. This means the solution may lose its effectiveness sooner than 24 hours.
Our colour indicator is designed to show this clearly:
Pink = active
Clear = no longer effective

Clear → Purple → Pink → Clear
Clear
Tap water before activation.
Purple
The tablet begins dissolving and generating the active disinfectant ingredient — peracetic acid.
Pink
The disinfectant has reached the correct working concentration and is ready for use.
Clear (faded)
As the disinfectant naturally degrades, the pink colour fades. When the colour disappears, the solution should be replaced.
This visual system allows professionals to clearly see:

KORRA HygienTabs are formulated with anti-corrosion inhibitors designed to help protect professional metal instruments during immersion disinfection.
The disinfectant solution also contains detergent components, providing 2-in-1 cleaning and disinfection.
Pre-measured tablets ensure:

• simplified workflow in busy salons
Because the tablets generate peracetic acid in situ, the disinfectant attacks multiple biological targets, rapidly breaking down microorganisms.
This makes it extremely difficult for microorganisms to develop resistance.
Directions for Use
Directions for Use
- Fill a suitable container with 500 ml of warm tap water (up to 40 °C).
- Add one 3g KORRA™ HygienTab to the water.
- The solution will change purple → pink as it activates.
- Once the solution turns pink, fully immerse pre-cleaned instruments.
- Leave tools in the solution for the required contact time.
- After disinfection, rinse instruments thoroughly with clean water and dry before storage.
